In 2010, I co-founded a video production company called Rhetorik. We created pieces that would engage the senses of the viewer and invite them to join in on the experience for clients like Universal Music, Sony, and Microsoft.
The company itself formed as the result of a passion project utilizing a less-known (at the time) social platform called Kickstarter. The project, Save Blue Like Jazz, ended up being the most successful project to date (raising $345K) and was awarded the 2010 Kickstarter “Best In Show” award.
We developed an in-house team capable of delivering start to finish film production services as well as creating a brand voice that would become recognizable and trusted over time.
We got to work with some amazingly talented and kind individuals all over the world, including Portland, Haiti, NYC, Seattle, New Orleans, Cambodia, Denver and Beijing.
